*ComfiNook/Stay in Capitol Hill/Walk to DC Sites*

As your Host, I aim to ensure that you have as comfortable a stay as you possibly can. I want you and your guests to create lasting memories during your stay in our Airbnb apartment in Capitol Hill, Washington DC. But to do so, I would immensely appreciate it if you could follow the below house rules. I know, I know, rules are boring… But these rules ensure we can provide future guests with a great experience. Kitchen: Help yourself to anything in the kitchen. We provide a Keurig instant coffee maker, cutlery, plates, and cooking utensils should you wish to cook. There is also a sponge and dishwashing soap for your convenience. Heating: The property has heating and cooling controlled by a Nest thermostat located in the hallway near the laundry area. Feel free to make yourself comfortable during your stay. Let me know if you have any questions. Noise: Due to local city regulations and as neighbors surrounding our property, we would appreciate it if you could keep the noise down after 11 pm if possible. Please note that a family lives upstairs and their little one who is yet perfecting their strides sometimes acts like they are stumping when he walks. Please notify the host if it is disruptive in any way. Not a problem and the host appreciates your communication on this. Laundry: There is a washer and dryer available for you to use, with washing detergent located on the shelf under the water faucet in the kitchen. TV Entertainment: There are TVs each in the living room and two bedrooms. The TV experience is powered by ROKU for available music, shows, News, movies, and Kid entertainment channels. Let me know if you have any questions. NoSmoking/NoPets policy: The health and safety of our guests and future guest are a top priority for us. Thereby, our home has a No Smoking/No Pets policy. Since no smoking is allowed on premises; if any evidence/alert/smell is detectable (even smoking in a doorway and it blowing back in), an additional cleaning fee of $250 will be assessed. If any smoke/odor of any kind can be detected such as Cigar, Cigarette, incense, legal matters in other states, etc. the fee will be applied. This will be pursued and reconciled through the Airbnb Resolution Center upon check-out. We immensely thank you in advance for caring for our home as well as considering the health and well-being of our future guests. In summary: * No loud noise after 11 pm. * No parties or events. * No smoking. * No pets allowed. * No unregistered guests. CHECK-OUT LIST: Here is our simplified 10-step checkout process for your convenience: Checklist: (1) Please bear in mind you are still on vacation. Don’t stress it as we will happily get to anything you couldn’t get to, no problem! (2) Checkout Time is 11 am, unless otherwise earlier agreed. The cleaners are scheduled to come in promptly and start cleaning. We also ask if possible, to notify us in case you leave earlier than noon. (3) Towels and Linens: Pls gather all used towels on the floor. Cleaners will strip beds off linens and take them to our bigger laundry unit after checkout. No need to do laundry or put it in the laundry machine. (4) Empty the Fridge of any used or opened foodstuff. (5) Trash: Please consolidate all trash by emptying the bathroom trash bins into the main trash bin. We will happily dispose of this in the main city-provided trash bin right outside. (6) Dishes: Please wash your dishes and cups if you can. (7) Check If Anything Is Left Behind Before Leaving. (8) Kindly leave us any suggestions if you have any. We value anything you may share that will help us continue to go above and beyond an overall 5 stars for you. (9) Turn off lights if you can and ensure the door Is locked when you leave.
